...I've had all kinds of coffee. I've ground my own beans with my Capresso 560.01 Infinity Burr Grinder, Black (which I still have and still use when grinding beans - mostly for espresso/Cuban coffee), I've had beans ground in various coffee-houses around the nation, I've ordered beans from numerous coffee roasters (Peet's, Starbucks, Baby's, Kaladi Brothers, etc.), I've bought/tried Illy, Lavazza, etc.. I've had several types and all manner of "calibers" of coffee is my point.
I discovered this coffee rather by accident. I was given the opportunity to stay at friend's home on the west coast of Florida for the better part of two weeks and I realized one morning upon waking up, I had not brought coffee and this was the only one they had on hand. So I tried it. I became hooked. So did my wife. It is simply delicious, with zero bitterness, acidity or aftertaste. It is just good coffee, period. In fact, you would be hard-pressed to find a smoother, tastier coffee than this. I love it. I drink it every morning now. This is my go to coffee, although Yuban Original Ground Coffee, 12-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12), Maxwell House South Pacific Blend Ground Coffee, 33-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 2) and Chock Full O Nuts Original Blend Ground Coffee 48 Ounce Can are all close seconds (collectively). But, this particular Folgers was the one that lured me away from all the other, much higher-dollar coffees and from my prior life-long favorite basic coffee - Eight O'Clock Coffee, Original Whole Bean, 12-Ounce Bag (Pack of 4). This Folgers has them beat.
I've gone through several of these very packages of coffee now and each one has been extremely fresh every time, remaining so until the package is empty. Also, for what it is worth, this coffee renewed my faith in/attention to Folger's such that once, when it was on sale, I purchased a canister of Folgers Coffee Ground Breakfast Blend, 29.2-Ounce Packages (Pack of 2). While that was an ok blend, this one is far, far better and tastier. I actually ended up giving away the canister of the Breakfast Blend to my barber.

Coffee tastes okay for 100% Colombian but could be better. Taste is a little bitter but not overwhelming. There are better coffee out there for about the same price. Won't be buying again.

With the price of coffee rising almost daily, I was excited to find one of my favorite coffees at such a great price. I should have ordered more. It was delivered quickly and I was pleased that the expiration date was still 11 months away.

I was a little hesitant, as folgers is ....folgers. However, this coffee is very good. It has a rich dark color and an excellent colombian taste. There are not a lot of shells and other debris mixed into the grounds which is great. if you ever compare a less expensive brand...or regular folgers, you can see light chunks of filler/debris in the grounds.
My only suggestion...would be for folgers to grind this blend a little more fine.
