 Not As Good As A Poptart But More FiberJun 23, 2009

These Fiber One toaster pastries aren't much better than regular Poptarts except the fiber and whole grain content. 190 calories, 4 grams of fat and 36 carbohydrates verus 200 calories, 5 grams of fat and 37 carbohydrates in a Poptart. The Fiber One has 5 grams of fiber verus the Poptart has 1. The number one ingredient in the Fiber One toaster pastry is whole grain wheat flour so you can feel a little better about eating them.
The taste isn't anywhere as good as Poptarts. The taste has a wholegrain taste that is kind of like some nutrigrain bars that can remind me of a stale taste but that being said, these are still good. Even my 2 and 3 year olds eat these so that says alot. Once you get use to these and not have a regular Poptart, you kind of forget about the whole grain taste and just enjoy them.

The Chocolate Fudge Fiber One Toaster Pastry is awsome. In all reality, quite habit forming. Loved the taste and if you nuke it for 12 seconds, it is much better than toasting it.
Great anytime.. not just for Breakfast.

Came as promised. I don't like them nearly as much as Pop-tarts but I feel less guilty eating them.

Considering this bad boy has a solid amount of fiber, it tastes really good! Worth a try.
