Actually taste good!Feb 03, 2009

I like Fiber One, so I thought I would try this. The chocolate ones are fine, but the brown sugar cinnamon ones are a lot better! Yes, they are pretty high-calorie, but you have to get your calories one way or another and this is a good way to do it. If you like Pop Tarts, try these.

I'm guessing Fiber One Toaster Pastries were not able to compete with Pop-Tarts' ridiculous marketing line, which includes a new terrible-for-you flavor every month (Birthday Cake, Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sundae, etc.). That's too bad because FOTP were heads and tails above PTs in every area - taste, appearance, sturdiness, uniformity, thickness. We LOVED these and kept them in the house as a special treat - something that tastes great but is not SO bad for you.
Of course they're gone now. Because most of the American public is stupid and feeds their kids Pop-Tarts by the case.
A shame!

HATE Fiber One and will never buy from them again!!! This was the BEST "pop-tarts" I have ever had!! Will NEVER buy another product from Fiber One!

The Fiber One name didn't draw me in on this, but i was looking for a high fiber breakfast item i could eat in the car on the way to work. Strawberry and blueberry aren't that good, but the brown sugar cinnamon tastes good and doesn't have the gritty feel so often associated with high fiber stuff. Better still, it doesn't upset your stomach like so many high fiber items do. Wal Mart stopped selling them, so i've taken to ordering them from Amazon.com, for about the same price.
