Does NOT taste anything like real bacon bits at all! If you want the real deal try Real Bacon Bits, 3-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 12) That stuff is AMAZING!

These bacon bits are ok for what they are intended for....to impart bacon flavor into foods and cooking uses. I was pleased to find them at the 23.00 price when I ordered them last August but when I came back today I see they have incresed to 39.00! Do not think I will reorder them.

This has a weak bacon flavor if you are expecting Smithfield Virginia fare. What it does have is the perception that it is lean meat bits
that does work is some ways in dishes quite nicely. Not all can openers will pop the lid and a plastic replaceable top would be nice. Ants got in the large can and a good soft plastic top would of prevented that.
