I am a huge Rice Krispies fan, yet try to stay away from non-organic and white rice when there's a reasonable alternative. I enjoy this every bit as much as the original RK cereal, and am grateful for this product. It's one of the most innocent "guilty pleasures" available in life... I've tried the gluten-free, and I guess what's missing for me in that version is the flavor imparted by the barley; to me, the gluten-free tastes too bland in comparison with the original version.

The subtle taste just simply doesn't stand up to my palate. I love brown rice, and many unadulterated cereals, but this one just didn't do it for me by its lonesome. When it needs an accompaniment, you might as well buy something cheaper.

My son used to love Erewhon Gluten Free Crispy Brown Rice Cereal but this has Barley and Amazon is not carrying their gluten free vserion anymore.
