 I expected 8 batteries in the package, not 4.Sep 02, 2010

I have used these batteries before and have been pleased but was disappointed right away when I opened the package this time. When doing the search for the batteries on Amazon, the description reads:
Energizer Rechargeable AAA Cells, 4 Batteries Per Pack
$11.91 ($1.49/battery)
Since $11.91 divided by $1.49 is about 8, I expected to see 8 batteries, 2 packs of 4.
Unfortunately there were only 4 batteries, making them $2.98/battery. That's way more than I would choose to spend on batteries!
I am very disappointed in Amazon for misrepresenting.

This seller is a fraud. The ad claims that they are selling you 2 packs of batteries (4per pack) at a cost of $1.60 per battery. What they really send you is a single pack of 4 batteries. Their photos display a 2500 mah pack. what you really get is a 850 mah pack.

I've used these and other rechargeable brands for years and have settled on Energizers. First of all, in my experience, rechargeable batteries do not carry a charge as long as non-rechargeable. I buy these because we use a LOT of batteries and this is the low cost solution. Buy a good recharger and your batteries will last much longer. If the charger has the option to slow charge use that over fast charge. I have rechargeable batteries that are several years old and still hold a charge. I keep the spare batteries in the charger and swap them as needed so we always have freshly charged batteries. If you charge the batteries and lay them off to the side they will loose much of their charge over several weeks. Cameras seem to be big battery hogs and as an avid photographer rechargeable batteries are the only cost effective solution. I take a spare packs of batteries and the portable charger with me on vacation. When a battery fails, and all will eventually, they will simply refuse to take another charge. A charger will support any brand of battery for the sizes it is designed for. I prefer the Energizers but any of the major brands work just fine.

I ordered rechargeable batteries, AA's from another vendor and AAA's from this one. These AAA's had no charge. Additionally, unlike the picture showing 4 in a box, I received 2 containers of 2. Were they older products? I don't know, but do wonder.

These bateries look different than the one I used to buy before(energizer) very poor cuality. I bought 8 aaa bateries end do not work I try to charge then for a long time end no one is ok.
