Scrumptious tasting English muffins!Feb 09, 2007
By health guy I've been a big fan of Ener-G Foods alternative food products. Ever since I discovered that I was Wheat and Gluten allergic, these have been my only substitutes for breads. These muffins are very tasty and crispy when toasted and are instant favorites of mine. Also, check out Ener-G's Light Brown Rice bread for sandwiches and their cookie assortment. These are so good that I don't even miss regular Wheat breads and cookies.

Delicious - Not just "delicious, y'know... considering it's gluten-free"Jun 02, 2008
By Justin Kaye I've tried a few products from Ener-G. While some of their products rank among other gluten-free substitutes on the market (you'll eat it, but it's clearly not as tasty as its wheat-based counterpart), their Brown English Muffins with Sweet Potato are actually delicious. I use them as English muffins, as burger buns, as sandwich bread, as garlic bread, as mini-pizza crusts--whatever. My girlfriend, who is not restricted by gluten intolerance, loves them as much as I do--which is testament that I haven't just lowered my standards due to how long it's been since I've eaten wheat-based English muffins.
The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I often find one or two muffins with mold on them. Mind you, this is only one or two in a package of 24, but I think Ener-G needs to address this problem.

Awesome!May 03, 2008
By Siva These are fantastic, and have half the fat of the other Ener-G gluten-free English muffin variety. My son eats them with a little honey and cinnamon and they taste great. I think there must have just been a bad batch last year because none of mine were moldy at all.

not-moldy muffins were goodDec 05, 2007
By C. mcguire My daughter loves these but 2 out of 6 packages were VERY moldy when they arrived (way before expiration date). I've read in my celiac yahoo group that this is not uncommon for ener-g products. Unfortunately, they have not been very responsive to complaints about this problem.

I was really disappointed when the Ener-G Sweet Potato English muffins arrived and three of the packages were moldy.
