I have been using this regularly for the last 2 or 3 years. I use this in my regular commute on my bike several times each week. I also use it for other workouts and hiking. The summers are hot and humid where I live and I sweat like mad on my bike. I use this in my bike bottles as well as before and after. If I cycle several days in a row, I tend to get cramps. My anecdotal evidence is that this definitely helps with cramping, fatigue, and recovery.
It works for me because I don't like all the sugar in most sports drinks. It has a slight salty lemon taste when mixed in 1 litre of water. Sometimes I mix it with a little sports drink powder to give it some flavor without too much sugar.

Good source of electrolytesNov 17, 2007

This is good for people who just want the electrolytes without all of the sugar and artificial colors or flavors. I tend to drink water during the work out, then the mixed water when I am done with the work out. It seems to do the trick of replacing my electrolytes. I would recommend this for anyone who just want the electrolytes. There is no taste to the mixed drink. Tastes very much like watered down orange/lemon juice, which is an accurate description.

It is so good! It tastes great and has no calories-even my 11 year old daughter likes it. I had never heard of a sports drink with no calories! You can add your own sugar or splenda (we'll use lemon Stevia sometimes) if you feel like it sweet; as much or little as you want. Each packet makes 1 quart making this a very very good deal!!!!!

I'm sure that this is a useful product. However it is not close to a complete electrolyte supplement. We purchased this for my mother in law. She continues to be borderline hyponatemic. I believe it is misleading to advertise this as an electrolyte drink and be "sodium free". The product was recommended by two friends who knew of her condition but were unaware this product lacked sodium -- a basic and important electrolyte. The list of main electrolytes is: Sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, magnesium, bicarbonate, phosphate, sulfate. Of this list of main electrolytes ElectroMix has calcium, magnesium and potassium.
