I am a big dried pineapple fan and I have to say that not only is this a great deal, its delicious! Only problem is that its so good that I eat more then 1 pack at a time. Im not sure how Amazon stores or packs the product though, I found small bugs in the box. The pineapple is in a sealed bag so it was fine.

This is our second case of delicious, not-too-sweet dried pineapple at an amazing price that can't be beat!!! One review states that one of the ingredients is a petroleum-derived chemical. This is a bit ambiguous. The ingredients list is as follows (which I copied directly from one of the bags): "Pineapple (pineapple, sugar, citric acid, natural and artificial flavor, sodium metabisulfite and/or sulfur dioxide added as a preservative." First, the list states "and/or," which means it may or may not be in it; and, second, the definition of sulfur dioxide is "a colorless toxic gas (SO2) that occurs in the gases from volcanoes." Despite this remote possibility, it is extremely tasty and contains much less sugar than other brands of dried pineapple. All I can say is: Y U M ! ! !

I purchase these for hubby to take to work to snack on, and to use in some baking. What a great deal! The ones we received are absolutely fresh and soft, no hard, old pineapple, here! Very flavorful pineapple, great for cooking and snacking. They send it in the case, that is still factory sealed and our expiration date was in mid 2013. Great price, great product. Can't go wrong with this :-)

I got this with subscribe and save for $21 and saved a ton. I paid almost 4 dollars for a 6oz bag at publix, so the numbers dont lie. The only thing I will say is that I prefer the dried fruits that are a little more chewy. These pineapples aren't soft but they aren't nearly as chewy as the publix ones. I cant say that this is a downside, its just my personal preference. Either way I give 4 stars for the price and taste.
