I've tried many types of wasabi from many different brands. Aside from freshly-grated, pure wasabi I have to say that Eden's wasabi powder ranks pretty close behind at 2nd place. The flavor is intensely hot, yet somewhat adjustable since you can add more or less water. Eden's products are always very high quality and this one is no exception. I highly recommended it to wasabi-lovers out there. There are no unnecessary preservatives, colors, additives or filler ingredients like in so many other conventional brands.
Wasabi powder is very easy to store; just make sure it's in an airtight container or bag and keep in a cool, dry place. Whenever you need some, add some hot water to the desired spice intensity and wait a few minutes. Give it a try!

I really love wasabi and this is the one I always reach for. I'm glad to purchase it in this pack of 6 too so I won't run out and have to go to my local health food store and pay a small fortune for it.

Besides being a good wasabi product, this product is also kosher! It's not easy to find good kosher wasabi...

This is NOT 100% Wasabi powder. The color is not right as it would be with true wasabi. This powder has been cut with other ingredients.

I have yet to taste this wasabi powder, but we just received it this morning and I am amazed how much we received for the price. Each package is in a little tin can with pull-loop lid and plastic cover. With six of these little tins, there is A LOT of wasabi! Should last us for a while. I would actually like it more if it were packages in 6 resealable plastic bags, as it wouldn't take up so much room, but these do stack nicely. Can't wait to try it and change my 4-star review to a 5!
