5Exceeded expectationsMay 04, 2009
By Mikhail Sushchik "Ponger"
I am totally sold on buckwheat being a super-grain. This product is organic, has great nutrition value and tastes pretty good too. I would not give it 5 starts for the taste, but other benefits added, I recommend it. Just keep in mind, that it tastes a little different than regular pasta, so you may have to experiment a little to find foods/sauces that complement it well.

If you have kids, who are addicted to pasta and you want to keep them from overloading on simple carbs and not getting enough other nutrients, this is a very good pasta to try.

4Healthy alternative for pasta dishesAug 27, 2009
By Joanne "Gotta Eat, Gotta Cook"
Since mid-May I am on WeightWatchers diet, need to put whole grains into my diets (pasta, bread, rice, etc.). I used this today in a macaroni salad. It said to boil 10 to 12 mins, but I'd say, no more than 10; it cooks quickly, and if you overdo it, some will split. It has 5 grams of fiber per 2oz serving, and since I'm on a high-fiber, low fat diet, this is very good. It has barely no sodium. I'm used to whole wheat pasta and like that a lot, but this one will take a little getting used to, not as dense; but for my purposes, it will do.

5Great paste for wheat sensitivity!Jul 09, 2010
By M. Sanderfeder
We love this pasta for the whole family. It's rich in protein and iron and our son, who's wheat sensitive, can have it without any problems.
Tastes great, even better than the normal wheat pasta.

5Better than I expectedMay 22, 2009
By Macro chef
I love Eden's Kamut pasta and I don't really taste much difference with the added buckweat. I make italian vodka sauce with these noodles and my family finishes it off quickly.

5Healthier than Whole Wheat alone and taste even betterJul 13, 2011
By mindy
I love the tastes of this pasta. It tastes even better than just 100% whole wheat. Kamut is a wheat type of grain but for what I have read has more micro nutrients (more healthy) and most of person that are gluten intolerant can eat Kamut with no problem. And Buckwheat is pretty nutritious (Whole grain buckwheat is an amazingly nutritious food. Even though it's protein is relatively low at approximately 11%, the protein buckwheat does have contains the eight essential amino acids and is one of the few "grains" (remember that buckwheat isn't a grain at all is more like a fruit) high in lysine. If you use half buckwheat flour with your wheat flour, the buckwheat's amino acids will round out the limiting amino acids in your wheat nicely, giving you a nearly perfect balance of the 8 essential amino acids. This particular balance between half wheat and half buckwheat flour is much more closely aligned to your dietary needs even than lean beef!!! It's also rich in many of the B vitamins as well as the minerals; phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper and manganese. In addition to this, it's a good oil source of Linoleic acid, one of the two essential fatty acids we must have to be healthy. Nutritionally speaking, buckwheat is a truly impressive food. Taken from [...]. Even though, it said that is organic, it doesn't contain any known certification like (USDA) to prove it, so if you looking for an organic strictly food, you would have to take a leap of faith here.

So in conclusion, if you are looking for getting a better (in healthy and tastes) to whole wheat this is a pretty good product.
