I add these flakes to other grains as a delicious breakfast cereal that even
my finicky husband will eat. Now that Eden has teamed up with Lundberg as a source
for their rice, the cereal tastes very good. Prior to this, the cereal did have a rancid flavor, as another reviewer may have mentioned. At times, when I eat it alone, I add various nuts, seeds and dried fruits. I liked it so much, I am get it through the subscribe and save program.

This item comes in a group of 6 packages. Upon opening the 1st bag, I smelled rancidity. Rather than sending them all back, I thought I would check the next bag. That one smelled fine. In the end, 2 bags were bad, and 4 were good. All had the same Best By date. Not sure how to remedy this problem. Just beware.

This is one of the best instant breakfast cereals I have found. It's quick and easy to make. I was having a hard time finding it in store these last few months so I ordered a pack of six on Amazon. Now I'm set for a good while...

I use this primarily as a breakfast meal at home and while camping. It cooks fast, is nutritious and the dishes clean up fast. Not as "gooey" as oatmeal. The only draw back is it's not quite as filling.

I think this is one of the most versatile food products I have ever used. I love rice, and love the fact that I can incorporate the flakes into so many different dishes, i.e. hot breakfast cereal, in soups. Further, you can determine the consistency, whether you want to make it thick or thin. It's delicious, healthy, has an excellent shelf life, I eat it every day, as I said, couldn't live without it.
