This stuff is great for use on smoked meats.May 12, 2010

My mom picked up some of this stuff back east several years ago and we were instantly hooked. We now order it by the case because we use it so much and it makes great gifts for friends and family that BBQ. It's a must if you BBQ a lot. We use it on whole tri-tips and on rib eye roasts - in the oven or the BBQ. A small amount is also great on hamburgers. For tri-tips, spread a fair amount over the entire roasts. For rib eye roast, cover the outside but not the ends. It has a good mixture of salt, garlic, pepper and other spices.

I was no longer able to find this seasoning at the local grocery stores but found it here. We love this seasoning on all types of meats. It works great on vegetables and eggs.

This seasoning is great, very flavorful. We use it on steak, ground beef and fish. It is especially good on salmon. My wife and I look forward to using it on other foods.

This was marketed in conjunction with a "big box club" and a manufacturer of an outdoor grill. Upon subsequent visits to the "big box club" we could not find it! I contacted the manufacturer of the grill and they said it was a "label over" product by Durkees. Yeah!
This is the best steak seasoning you'll ever use. Product is coarse ground. I also use it sprinkled on salads and steamed veggies a few minutes before serving to reconstitute the herbs and seasonings. It is delish! An excellent value for the money.

This product use to be at Sams Club under the Weber Canadian Steak seasoning or under the Tones label but they chose to carry McCormicks instead what a mistake by Sams. We use this seasoning by the ton in our catering business. You can make a marinade with water or shake it directly on your meat and let it marinate over night. It is the best flavor for beef by far we've tried and we continually get compliments about our brisket and burgers. I hope they will release it in lager quantities soon.
