My Primary Cooking Oil NowFeb 28, 2010

I surprised myself at how versatile this product is. We use it for all of our roasting and baking. Gives our food a great flavor and does not burn our glass or stainless steel pans. At first I used too much and went through 2 jars quickly, but then I used just a little (1/2 - 1 teaspoon) to coat our pans, and that seems to be just the right amount. It took a long long time to use the 3rd jar. We use coconut oil as our primary spread and the cooking oil is an adjunct. I am reticent to use olive oil because how quickly it becomes rancid sitting on shelfs. But I still combine olive oil with DR. Fife's cooking oil if the heat is over 350 degress. Dr Fife's cooking oil is stable and is really much cheaper and healthier that olive oil, in my opinion. I recommend this product whole-heartedly!!
