I typically purchase brand-name shampoo and conditioner in discount stores, but I thought I would try Dove's product for a little change of pace, and for additional savings.
I have been using the shampoo and the complementary conditioner for a week now. The smell is light and fresh, and the product lathers nicely in my hair. The conditioner leaves my hair soft and silky, and I have not experienced any residue problems.
Overall, I think Dove has a great product with these shampoos and conditioners.

I first received this shampoo and conditioner in a bath set for christmas (it came with the cucumber and green tea scented body wash and body spray as well - both of which I use frequently and love so I thought the products for my hair would be just as good). And for the first week it was. My hair was soft and clean (having long hair I wash it everyday). The best part was 8 hours after I washed my hair people would still be telling me how good my hair smelled, and that has never happened with any other shampoo/conditioner.
However, about a week and a half after I started using it, after my hair would dry my part all along my scalp would feel and look greasy. I thought it was an issue of me not rinsing it all out but my hairdresser told me the intense repair was stripping too much from my hair and leaving it gross. Overall this shampoo/conditioner is too harsh for everyday use, and I ended up switching back to Aussie which works much much better for me!

My boyfriend and I live on a strict budget so I'm always looking for a deal when it comes to restocking our household products. I had used Dove's bodywashes and hair products in the past and had always been pleased with them. Normally we use Dove Damage Therapy Daily Moisture Shampoo, Packaging May Vary, 25.4 Ounce (Pack of 2), but I've always enjoyed cucumber scented products and this formula was on sale so I took a chance. So glad I did!
First off, I find this shampoo just as moisturizing as the Daily Moisture formula. It strips my hair clean of any product I may have used before and definitely helps tame my split ends. I'm always a bit nervous with shampoos and conditioners that promote themselves as being "eztra moisturizing" because I've had some bad encounters with different brands where that just means greasy and oily no matter how hard you try to rinse it out. Fortunately that wasn't the case with Dove's Damage Therapy line.
Now for the reason why I prefer it over the Daily Therapy shampoo: the scent! I absolutely love the clean fragrance the cucumber/green tea formula has. I don't find it overwhelming or synthetic, but just very nice and clean. For those prone to nasal sensitivity and who prefer unscented products, though, this is definitely NOT for you. I find that the scent lasts throughout the day even after my hair has dried. I love that fact, but it might not make everyone happy.
I think this two-pack is a great value for a great product. I can't afford to buy salon brands, but this one performs just as well as any of those have at a fraction of the cost. I'll definitely be repurchasing this when we run out (which will be a while, thankfully).

Dove Damage Therapy is the only shampoo/conditioner duo that has claimed to repair hair (like my "regularly dyed" and processed hair) AND actually delivers.
After even the first wash, my hair is visibly softer!
