Our family has been eating these for some time now.
My inlaws are Dutch and they love this product.
By far the best tasting chocolate sprinkles you can buy.

Purr is PerfectMay 18, 2011
By Victoria A. Stanton I bought the dark chocolate sprinkles (purr). We had a guest from the Netherlands who first shared these delicious little treats with us, and am so glad to find them on Amazon. You eat them just as shown, on a buttered piece of toast. Yum!

classic dutchJan 09, 2012
By MelissaJ My Grandfather is originally from the Netherlands and I still have family living there today. My family overseas often sends us deruyter chocoade hagel melk & puur. As a kid, and now as an adult, whenever I visit my Grandfather he always has these on hand. It's really traditional Dutch to have some rusk spread lightly with butter and some "hagel" (as it's often shortened to) sprinkled on top. What you don't find on Amazon are the other kinds that are offered in the Netherlands that we are often sent. These extras include: chocolade vlokken (which are shavings/flakes of either milk or dark instead of sprinkles), vlok feest (dark and white chocolate shavings/flakes), Vrucht Hagelslag (fruity sprinkles), and either blue & white Muisjes or pink & white Muisjes (colored anise seed, these are used on special occassion ... for instance blue/white for having a boy & pink/white for having a girl).
If you haven't had any of the above I deff suggest getting in on this delicious Dutch treat, and don't forget to try it on rusk w/ butter as it's enjoyed traditionally.
