Because of this fine texture, our Italian-made Organic Whole Wheat Acini di Pepe go well in pasta salads, cold or warm, or can be added to thick soups like Wedding Soup, or served as an infant’s first dish of "pastina." | | | Features: | |

By Barbara Hillier Leave it to the Italians to make great pasta. Be sure to have a colander with tiny holes before cooking up a batch as this pasta is very small. Great flavor and sauce sticks to the pasta as it should.
Great Tasting and Healthy!May 05, 2010
By M. Ceplecha I grew up on pastina and eggs. I'd been looking for a whole wheat version, because my young son loves pastina as well. This one is really good - it has a taste almost the same as regular pastina (acini de pepe), and it is organic. The noodles are a bit smaller than regular pastina, and cook a little darker. I used a mesh strainer as a regular strainer won't work. Too bad you have to order such a large quantity. But we'll be eating it a lot this year!
