Every dessert product I've tried from Dassant has been excellent. I wish Amazon carried more varieties, because I know they are out there. They are easy to make for the emergencies when you must bring something and are a notch above most box mixes I've tried. Not overly sweet.

this mix requires more ingredients than the beer batter bread mix...it was not worth the wxtra work or ingredients. the beer mix is splendid and user friendly

I look around for bread mixes to use and ran across Dassant Cinnamon Chip Bread Mix, 16-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6). I rate that 5 stars! Awesome taste, can't mess it up and almost no extra ingredients. So I figured I would try there other mixes.
The American Pie Applesauce isn't my favorite, but it is much better than other brands.
This takes eggs and a whole cup of applesauce.
The flavor is really good and it is very moist.
Easy enough to mix with a spoon.
I would easily recommend all of the Dassant mixes over any other I have tried.
But the Cinnamon Chip Bread is the best!

I first purchased Dassant bread/cake mixes several years ago. I just recently tried the American Pie Applesauce Cake Mix. As with their other mixes, I was very satisfied. The Dassant mixes are very quick and easy to prepare. All of the mixes I have tried taste great and everyone seems to love them. The American Pie Applesauce Cake Mix is also very versatile. It can be served for breakfast, as a dessert, or as a snack.
