By Far The Best Choice for my Super-Auto coffee maker!Oct 04, 2010
By Al Lindner I have one of these espresso machines that does it all, beans in one end and perfectly brewed espresso/coffee out the other. One common feature of these "super-automatics" is that they must have dry beans, not the oily greasy kind the leading American brands produce. This is critical if you want best performance and long life for your expensive machine!
Until I discovered the Dallmayr Crema D'oro, I have used Lavazza as well as Illy and both are great, but after trying this Dallmayr roast I have an unopened kilo of Lavazza that will remain in reserve! For my palate and my machine, a Capresso F9, I will only use these Dallmayr beans going forward. I recommend you give them a try they are simply sublime!

Love this coffeeOct 02, 2011
By K. Wirsch My daughter brought me a kilo from Germany. Definitely my new favorite replacing Lavazza Super Crema. Maybe not worth paying a premium, but if I can get it close to the same price as the Lavazza, I prefer the Dallmayr.

great for burr grindersMay 05, 2011
By Mississippi hiker This is a dry bean with plenty of taste for strong brews, but it won't clog up your burr grinder or automatic capuccino machine.
Nice coffee for the super automaticsMay 14, 2012
By Review the product honestly I have always used Lavazza Super Creama for my Jura for about 5 years now and would change it up here and there and would try Starbucks, Dunkin, Petes, Jamican, Kona, and countless others. But for some reason they all seem like they would make better coffee in a Drip than in my automatic. Then I came across this one and gave it shot. The crema and aroma on this is very nice, the same results as the Lavazza The taste is excellent and a just bit more complex than the Lavazza and a tad bit more acidic. Since taste is subjective all I can say is that if you like the Lavazza you should like this one also.
Best Coffee Beans for High End Automatic MachinesFeb 17, 2012
By Uta Hempel I use Dallmayr Prodomo and Crema D'Oro for my high end automatic coffee maker. Other beans are often too oily and will clog the grinder. The taste of Dallmayr Crema D'Oro is smooth and I haven't found another brand yet that has similar qualities.
