The Flavor that Started it All for Our FamilyApr 28, 2009

We tried the Orange Pineapple flavor of Crystal Light because we were searching for a caffeine and sugar free alternative drink that our whole family would enjoy. Fortunately for us, we chose well! Our entire family loves the flavor of this mix. It's not "tangy" or too sweet but does quench your thirst! Mix it with a little Diet Sprite for a zingy alternative! Or, if you're of legal age, add a bit of wine (Sangria is delicious, but a Merlot would work too) along with the soda to create a wonderful mixed drink! Yum!

This is my favorite flavor - been drinking it every day for years. It's been disappearing from various stores for awhile now. It is a very underappreciated flavor and I have always feared it would be phased out. It's impossible to contact Kraft about it! Anyone know where to get it?

This is another home run for Crystal Light. It's not my favorite flavor, but it's still delicious. I prefer tangy drinks, so I actually like the Red Grapefruit and NATURAL lemonade best, but this one is a close 3rd. It starts out with a fresh pineapple flavor and finishes with a mild orange taste. This flavor tends to be a bit sweet, but not nearly as much as the Tropical Punch flavor. It's still very doable.
Each little cup in the canister makes 2 quarts, so I mix two little cups in a gallon jug of drinking water (minus a couple of ounces for shaking room) and stick it in the fridge. Fast and easy. Next batch I'll try one Red Grapefruit and one Orange Pineapple and see how that works.
What can I say? Buying in bulk from Amazon comes out to the same price as retail stores in my area, but without the tax, gasoline, or time to go to the store. Plus, I never run out. I use the Subscribe and Save program, which allows me to get automatic shipments as frequently or as rarely as I choose. It's a win-win situation for me.

Worked well for the Smoothie recipe. Glad I was able to find them since my store did not carry this flavor.
