5perfect penOct 10, 2011
By K. Joy
This pen is awesome. It has perfect weight distribution and sits comfortably in your hand. I am a total pen nerd, and this is by far my favorite pen to use. Additionally, I have a medical condition that often limits my hand movements and pain tolerance. When I use this pen throughout my day, I am able to work longer and more comfortably than I am when I use a typical stick pen. Oh, and dealing with the seller was great. The product came in pristine condition and quicker than I expected. Makes a great gift. This is by far the best pen I have found for this price. Kudos on this one Cross.

5Beautiful penAug 23, 2010
By Spudmuffin
After researching cross pens, this one appealed to me the most. Nice weight, very attractive, excellent writing, very smooth. Just a beast of a pen, the cross contour can easily do what the more expensive cross pens can do. i chose the chrome finish because i like the classic, yet very modern look of this pen. no more cheap bics for me! The cross townsend and the century II both look like good choices too, but im glad i went with the contour. This pen looks like the ATX by cross, except more modern in my opionion, with great rubber grips. very comfortable. I highly suggest this pen.

5Best Cross Pen Ever!Jan 30, 2010
By Peter E. Nestor "Stratman"
This pen is always a pleasure to use to write or look at. It offers perfect balance,a sleek profile, and a very robust and higly polished chrome clip which commands authority when displayed in a shirt pocket. The thicker style and infused rubber grips make this the most comfortable writing instrument I have ever owned. Best of all it uses standard Cross ink refills available everywhere. I bought 3 of them just for me. It is a perfect gift to yourself or others.

I ordered this pen for my grandfather because he needed a new, good pen. He loves it and it writes very well. It came in a lovely gift box as well.

3Hefty Cross PenSep 06, 2011
By Jerrell W. Dove
I'm not a connoisseur of pens, so paying $20 for one is a big deal. I recently lost a Cross Classic wide body pen that I had been using for almost 15 years. Because they don't make them any more, I looked for a nearly alike substitute and chose the Cross Countour. The finish is nice, if plain. The parallel rubber grips at the point seem out of place with a higher-end pen. They do take away from the appearance. Mechanically, this pen is almost fine. It writes well and fits my clumsy fingers. It requires a twist to extend and retract the point. There seems to be a rub or unusual friction at the end of the extension twist. Nothing major, even though it makes me worry about the durability of the mechanism. Not the smooth action I was used to. This is a hefty pen. You don't want to put this in your dress shirt pocket. It's so heavy it pulls the outside fabric of the pocket away from the shirt. It also crumples the fabric and makes it sag. Not a good look for an office guy. I've started putting it into my trouser pocket, which looks strange and geeky. But, I paid $20 for a pen, so I'm going to use it. I wish I could have put one in my hand before purchasing. I might have made a different decision. Such is online shopping.
