5Good flavor - beats Jeremiah FogbusterSep 07, 2009
By Dog Lover 1024 "Dog Lover 1024"
I typically order the cheapest bag of whole beans from Amazon that ship with Prime; I tried this bag on a whim and I'm very happy.

I grind 4 cups automatically each day and it is a nice flavor. Not too strong, not too weak. Good morning blend. (If you have never had freshly ground coffee, and are not scared of paying for freshly ground each day the rest of your life, hop on a bag on sale on Amazon and give it a try. I use a Krupps integrated auto-grind unit, and I'm a big fan. And the unit has broken once and I had it repaired!)

I'm not a cofee snob but this stuff is night a day to pre-ground coffee; I much much prefer this brand to the Jeremiah's bags of beans (I believe I had the Jeremiah fogbuster earlier which was not great...)

1Terrible coffeeApr 09, 2011

This is one of the worst coffees i have ever purchased. There was no indication in the product description that it was a "blend". The product was listed as Dark Roast, however, it is light roast at best. The roasting is uneven. It is weak, overly acidic and tastes awful.

1Just AwfulApr 07, 2011

This is the weakest Dark Roast that I have ever encountered.
Somehow I managed to order the wrong coffee, but I tried it anyways.
What a mistake. Small, deformed and immature beans; half seem hardly roasted at all.
Even roasting it myself did nothing to improve the flavor.
Caffeine. but little else..

2Not 100% PNGMay 10, 2010
By O. Chetverikov "0leg"
If you look on the package picture close enough, you will see that it is a "blend", which means it can be 90% of any coffee other than Papua New Guinea. Nowhere in the product description it mentions that it is a blend. I realized this only after buying. For generic coffee, it is a decent blend, certainly no worse than what you would buy at a local coffee chain, but much less expensive. An undiscriminating coffee drinker would find it acceptable. But don't expect any special flavor nuances from it or try to compare it to 100% PNG coffee.

1Bait and switch.Apr 07, 2011
By Revlot
Between the time the item went in my wish list and the time I bought it (1 week) - the item changed description, bag design, logo design, and contents of bag became of lesser quality. Trying to return un-used portion. Not satisfied.
