We have had these before but, bought them from a B&M store , and were not certain how they would arrive and no one on the phone could tell us. So I will tell you. They are packed in an ice chest type crate with ice packs , and because it is winter, we had no problems with our second order, everything was frozen. Our first order was lost in transit, but did arrive 8 days later than expected. Amazon replaced it, becuase we were afraid to eat it. We orderd several of the Conte's products. They are actually very good, this one was a big hit , and everyone enjoyed the pizza. All and all a good experience , and good food.

This product is quite good. I grew up eating this kind of stuff & it's almost equal to the real stuff. I like to fry in butter w/ sauteed onions & sour cream.

First, I have to say that these are delicious frozen pierogies. The texture and flavor are very similar to Mrs. Paul's frozen pierogies. Your gluten-eating guests will not know they are eating a gluten-free product.
The reason I rated this product only one star is because Conte's has major shipping problems. Amazon.com customer service did the best they could but Conte's shipping department never managed to ship me my entire order. I was ordering pierogies for a party. Conte's sent me an incomplete order. I called Amazon.com and thereafter received another order from Conte's. It was incomplete also. I told Amazon.com that I was glad to wait for the rest of the order (I like these!) but after about two weeks, Amazon.com cancelled the rest of my order, reimbursed me for the remainder of the order and said they were pulling this product off the shelf until Conte's resolved their shipping issues. I noticed that Amazon.com has it listed twice so I am not sure if this product has been pulled.
So, if you have extra time, no deadlines, a high threshold for ordering mixups and you do not mind receiving only a partial order, this would be a good product for you to try.

I have had the homemade pierogi and LOVED all kinds! My boyfriend, however, could not enjoy the real thing. We decided to try these Gluten Free potato & onion and OMG we LOVE THEM! I mean no disrespect to the wonderful Polish cooks slaving in their kitchens to spoil their families.... but these are fantastic! We will surely keep these stocked in the freezer. Thank you for an awesome dinner from Conte's!!!
