We've been eating this mix for 12-18 months as a healthy alternative to traditional breakfast cereals. It's been wonderful, and we've been buying in bulk, since many of the stores around here weren't ordering enough (and also to take advantage of sales.) But now, General Mills has changed the make up: now there are bagel chips--which are larger and harder than the snack crackers--and I believe the pretzels have also changed. The flavor is noticeably different, and is somewhat off-setting.
This change was not announced on the packaging, which it should have been. We're not happy, and we'll probably be avoiding this product in the future.

Yes the taste is a little strong but it beats by far any other snack of its type, my Wife and I really loved it and have been buying it ever since we discovered it.

I live in a university town and students have also discovered this snack; alas, the local stores cannot keep it in stock. When available, I usually buy several bags of mix and hope they last until a new "mix" shipment arrives.
I supplement the original mix. In a gallon plastic storage bag, I mix one 8 oz bag of Cheerios Original Snack Mix with 1 cup each; chopped walnuts, dry roasted peanuts, cashew halves and pieces, and almonds. Lasts me about a week.

It is so strange as you cannot find this snack in any store and lo and behold-Amazon has it! I looked for 2 years. This is my favorite snack of all times. It is tasty, flavorful and generally a great product.

This is one of the best snack options I have ever bought and tasted! It has the right mixture of salty and sweet, (there is a little bit of sweet in there) and is very healthy compared to other brand name snacks, such as Doritos and Cheetos. People who are salt-sensitive should probably not buy this product. But for everybody else, I definitely recommend it!
