Great couscousOct 19, 2009
By Dave I like couscous but I don't generally go out of my way to eat it. I picked this up locally just to have something different as a side dish (I usually serve it with chicken which it compliments really well). I don't really have anything negative to say about it. Here's what I liked: -Made with organic wheat flour -Cooking time is about 5-10 minutes (perfect for days when we're making a late start at dinner and want something quick) -Great flavor, mild enough for kids (I've served it to everyone from two year olds to grandparents and everybody loves it) -Low cost -Taste great with olive oil (you add oil or butter when cooking it)
It can be hard to find. The organic grocery stores usually carry it but at mainstream stores it can be hit or miss to find. It usually runs about $2.50-$3.00 a box in the store so the price here is pretty good. I've tried some of their other flavors of couscous and I keep coming back to this one. If you've never had it before I'd suggest trying to find a box locally but if you can't find it I don't you would be disappointed if you just ordered a case, it's pretty good stuff.
An oral symphonyMar 20, 2012
By David Lence Wow! I'm glad I get subscribe/save for this. I've always enjoyed couscous but this is something else. Nuts collide with currants and spices and artfully gel into an extraordinary taste sensation. I urge others to try this. Maybe there's something in the currants but I've never been happier with couscous. A subjective opinion, yes, but try this.
Love Casbah products!Mar 08, 2011
By Patricia A. Clark The Casbah Couscous is really good! I've tried several Casbah products, and all of them have been really high quality and easy to make. The case price is a great value. I added chicken to the couscous to make it into a meal.

yo have to wait nothing to eat it. The price is very good. It is good to prepare eastern food but it is a little dry to eat it alone.
