Health and has a great tasteMar 22, 2010

Needed something to help my daughter with several health issues to get the vitamins & minerals she needs daily but if it does not taste good then it can be a can of magic health in a can but she will not drink it. I was so happy to see that after trying out other brands she really enjoyed drinking this one and with the Carnation brand to stand behind it as I have purchased their products for years as did my parents I can highly recommend this product!

I ordered this for the first time wanting to try something different than the Ensure which I've bought for a number of years. As it turns out, my order couldn't have come at a better time.
Unfortunately the day it arrived, I caught a horrific stomach virus and was unable to keep anything solid down. Late the next day I knew I needed to get some sort of nourishment in my system (other than saltines) and tried the Carnation Instant Breakfast. It was exactly what I needed! It didn't upset my unsettled stomach in the least.
In terms of the taste, I'd say that "Chocolate Splash" is an apt name. The drink does taste like chocolate but the flavor isn't terribly strong. Best of all there's no sort of vitamin aftertaste that a lot of the meal replacement drinks seem to have.
I now drink one of these in lieu of breakfast and find that it will hold me until lunch time.
I'm really happy with this product and am glad I tried it.
