Yum! This is the best tasting carrot cake I have ever had, and I have had a lot. This was very easy to make and after adding cream cheese frosting to it... it disappeared fast. We left the raisens out of it and also added some chopped walnuts on top. Can't beat the flavor.

We tried this many ways...with more pineapple chunks...with less...with cream cheese frosting or with whipping cream and our favorite way was lots of pineapple chunks (cooked inside, not on top) and real whipped cream right out of the oven with it steaming. Love it! It has a rich, heavy texture..quite satisfying for a dessert.
It's lots of work to make this with having to grate carrots but I'm sure it's full of vitamin A, goodness and has such a great taste. Recommend!

I first bought this cake at a grocery store. It was on clearance, so I figured "what the heck". I baked it a few days later, and oh my gosh, it was delicious! I raced to the store to see if the product was still available but they were gone, and not stocked on the shelf.
I was sooooo glad when I found out Amazon stocked this cake mix. Not only is the carrot cake to die for, but the apple cake is wonderful (and my personal favorite), as well. I now stock this cake in my pantry, and am giving the cake mix as gifts for hostesses, and friends for Christmas.
Love it and thanks Amazon for stocking it at such a great price!

One box makes an 8-inch square cake. You add grated carrots, crushed pineapple & 2 eggs. No need to use your mixer or even grease the pan. This would be good without icing. I made the icing recipe on the box and it makes way too much for an 8 inch cake, so cut icing recipe in half if you are just using 1 cake mix.

I like that we have healthy cake mixes that do ot have all the colors and dangerous additives, this mix is good, but very sugery
