5Delicious!Jun 19, 2009
By Wendy Tobler
This is great tomato soup with a definite, but not overpowering flavor of basil, and a consistency that's not too thick or thin. Although I enjoy this simply as-is (goes GREAT with Ritz crackers), I usually add quinoa, brown rice, whole wheat pasta or cubed potatoes for a nutritious, filling dish that serves as my lunch or sidedish at dinner. With the hint-of-spaghetti-sauce flavor, you can get even fancier with your add-ins, such as cheese or veggies.

5a nice tomato soup that is good alone or in receipesOct 06, 2009
By M. Lawson
I love this soup. It's more sophisticated than the tomato soup we all grew up with, yet it's perfect with a grilled cheese sandwich on a cold evening. The basil is soft and does not lend an overly Italian slant to the taste. It's just a great soup for the adult taste bud, although your kids will be fine with it too. It's perfect in meatloaf, vegetable soup, you name it.

4Campbell's select harvest tomato and basil soupMar 29, 2010
By Samantha Calvin
This is the only canned soup I consider edible. I'm fussy about what I eat and don't ordinarily go for prepared foods. But it's convenient to have a can of soup on hand. This is really good. And 200 calories per serving --or 400 for the entire can.
