This is a perfect quick meal for those cold blustery days. If you like clam chowder like I do, then you can't go wrong with this one. It's a big can with a pull top (nice, no can opener needed) add a dab of butter and some fresh ground pepper and enjoy this thick soup with lots of goodies in it.
I would of given it five stars but I think the price should be a litter lower. I will order again.

"price vs. quality"
This is about the same price you'd pay per can at the grocery store with Amazon's 99 cent shipping promotion. I love this clam chowder. It's comfort food for me and each time I open a can it's the same soup again and again, with no surprises. You can see and taste the clams and potatoes, it's thick and good.

Campbell's Chunky Clam Chowder used to be one of my favorites. No longer. The current offering must use a new recipe. The former sweet, creamy taste is gone. It is now runny and has an funny, kind of peppery off-flavor. Reminds me of the BP oil spill. Includes crunchy bits of shell or sand. I ate a couple of spoonfuls and threw the rest away. Ugh. Never again.

Pretty good stuff but I found it cheaper at the local grocery store after buying it on Amazon. Not the best canned chowder I've ever purchased and nothing is as good as home made but it works for a quick snack.

the first time i cooked this it tasted very bad.....BUT WHEN I COOKED IT more than 5 minutes it tasted like i knew it should DELISIOUSo........BUY IT
