It rose to the occassion!Sep 13, 2009

We are orginally from the Midwest and have grown up with Calumet. In the Southwest after over 20 years it is now impossible to get here. We tried the famous baking soda company brand and knew we trust them and it has no Aluminum! Okay my cake fell! (Been baking this cake for 30 years) So I tried a famous Southern brand it worked just okay but the rise still was not normal. So I ordered a case before I started believing I could no longer bake. Cake baked up perfectly. 24 cans is a lot to order so all my friends and neighors will never have to worry about their cakes falling.

i have used calumet baking powder for many years and it is an excellent baking product with great results during and after baking. It mixes well with other ingredients during baking graveies, cookies, and puddings.

My favorite brand!Dec 29, 2013
I love this brand of baking powder. The last time I went to the store to buy some they were out and I bought some of the other well known brand. Hating to waste I wanted to finish off that can before I bought some more (I gave up and tossed it). It wasn't as fluffy as this brand, and it also didn't mix as well when I added it into my recipe. If I wasn't paying attention there were little tiny 'rocks' of baking powder that never dissolved. I have never had that problem using Calumet baking powder. My baked goods always turn out so much nicer when I use Calumet.

I was a bit skeptical at first over the glowing reviews of this baking powder having used the typical store bought brand for years. But, after going through the first can, I can truly recognize a positive difference on the superior leavening properties of this product. I regularly bake a fairly dense muffin recipe, and the muffins come up beautifully moist and light, with a very even lift all the way through. So, I've signed up for the regular interval purchasing plan with Amazon!
Calumet Baking Powder is bestSep 22, 2011
I have used Calumet Baking Powder all my life, along with my mother before me. It is the only baking powder that works correctly in backing. It is because of the stabilizer. For some crazy reason, the grocery stores are no longer carrying Calumet, so I've had to try all the others. They all foam up and cause the rising to fail. The consistency of the baked goods is not right with them. I'm so happy I can get Calumet from Amazon. I thought I would have to give up baking.
