Closest thing to butter flavor with NO FAT!Jun 07, 2008

I really like this product. When sprinkled on moist foods, it tastes very rich and buttery. Contains NO FAT, NO CHOLESTEROL and is low carb for those who are watchful of their carb intake. I prefer an ultra low-fat diet and the Butter Buds are great for my lifestyle. I put them on potatoes, oatmeal, rice dishes etc... Highly recommended!

great substituteMar 02, 2008
By AnyWoman "AE" is it like adding a heaping spoon of salty butter to your meal? obviously not... but for anybody trying to avoid too much sodium and fat, this is a fantastic substitute

Butter SaltAug 07, 2007
By L. Brick I prefer mcCormick's butter salt. But since I haven't been able to find this item in the stores, I switched to Butter Buds as I got tired of looking for it.I would like to see Amazon add McCormick's butter salt to their list.

If you're can't do the real thingJan 24, 2012
By M. Reavey I choose this as a cheap way to add flavor without adding fat or calories. I also choose butter buds as it melts faster on hot food than Molly McButter, and the container is larger (more is always better right?)
