perfect for lunchJan 21, 2012
By bigbreezy I can expect the same quality of sardines each time I order. I need to add more hot sauce for my taste. The size is perfect for putting on bread or crackers, not too big or small. My only problem is the packaging. Bumble Bee adds a label that makes it difficult to open the package and often leads to spills. Since I always eat lunch in my car, it gets tricky. Due to this I took a star away from the rating.
Never will I buy this again!!!Mar 07, 2011
By KKemo The sardines were horrible!! They weren't cleaned properly. They had a dirt-like taste. Never again will I waste my money on this
Close but no cigar!Sep 18, 2010
By L. E. Hill At one time my favorite sardine was Brunswick in Louisana hot sauce but for some reason they discontinued it and I have been searching for that flavor ever since. I don't know if it was the hot sauce or what but the Bumble Bee is close but no cigar!
Not bad for a buck!Mar 12, 2010

I expected three herring derrieres and I got five neatly packed medium size fishes. It looked like one of the more pricey brands! Also, mine were from Canada, not Poland.
The hot sauce was hot enough to be noticeable and offset the fishiness of the sardines rather well, and yet the taste seemed balanced enough so that I know I was eating fish. They weren't the freshest feeling or tasting the sardines I've had out of a can, but at leat they had the texture and taste of fish. I could have eaten the can cold but I warmed up the fish in the microwave for about 12 seconds to make them even better.
A quality product at a low price. Nice job Bumble Bee!

This is the only sardine my husband will it. They stopped selling it months ago in my area. I was very happy to get it through Amazon.
