it was all i needed.May 11, 2009
By Laura Malajovich Not only it came on time and in perfect conditions. It was really easy to use and has sooo much space that I could transfer all my files and still is almost empty! My laptop started to work much faster!
ImpressiveSep 12, 2009
By D. Slager This installed (Windows Vista) without any hassles. This tiny little guy is really impressive. I'd give it 5 stars but haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up. Also, it "includes software" that would be really slick to use except that you have to pay to use it. That stinks. But it works fine without the add-on software.
Poor transfer speeds under LinuxJul 18, 2009
By L. Razoumov Bought Buffalo Ministation HD-PF250U2 250GB 40 days ago.
Pros: * Sturdy design, low noise * USB cable conveniently wraps around the case and snaps in. * Secondary USB power cable included in the package for free
Cons: * really poor transfer speeds. I am using this drive to back up my Linux system and I am consistently getting write speeds below 1MB/second. For USB-2 it is bad. My Toshiba external hard drive gives me 6-10MB/sec.
If not for poor write speed I would give it much higher marks
