I've been using this brand of Macadamia nut oil for all my cooking for two years. I've tried other brands, but this one is the best. I used to buy this product at Whole Foods, but they discontinued carrying it and was absoutely thrilled to find it here at Amazon. I hope they continue to carry it! I'm allergic to olives and Olive oil so this is the perfect healthy substitution. You can't go wrong purchasing this product.

I bought this oil during the time when they offer free shipping which means quite a saving. When I received the three bottles, they are in perfect condition with a long expiration date on them. I also heard a lot of good (healthy) things about cooking with macadamia nut oil. It has a very mild flavor if you can taste the nutty flavor at all. The oil is stable enough to withstand high temperature cooking. Nowadays I use it to cook everything, and I reserve the olive oil for raw use only.

Since I'm trying to lower my intake of PUFAs I've been pretty much using coconut oil (and coconut ghee) for cooking, but wanted something different for making vinaigrettes or when I want to saute something with butter AND oil. This fits the bill perfectly. The flavor is smooth and buttery, much more appealing than most olive oils I've tried (which of course I do not cook with as heat damages olive oil). So it's a very versatile oil as well.
Amazon has is for a good price and the oils came very well packaged with no breakage. I actually went to the Brookfarm website and read about their farming methods and was pretty impressed.
I will be buying this again.

Macadamia oil has a nutrition profile even better than olive oil & a flavor reminiscent of butter that makes it ideal for cooking. I have been very pleased with the quality of the Brookfarm brand (which also happens to be a bit less pricey than the Australian Mac Nut Oil that I originally used to get).
I have ordered this about a half dozen times now & the bottles are always well packaged against breakage during delivery & I have never had any problem with the shipping.
(On a relatively trivial note, they are shipped with those annoying styrofoam packing peanuts that cling to everything - I could wish that they would use the corn based ones that don't have static cling & can be dissolved in water or something otherwise easier to recycle)

Brookfarm Natural Macadamia Nut Oil is a good product, but it is not my favorite. It lacks the refreshing rich smell that "Now Macadamia Nut Oil" has when you open it up. That's why I am only giving it 4 stars. So, I will probably go back to buying "Now Macadamia Nut Oil", but I would by Brookfarm Natural Macadamia Nut Oil in a pinch, especailly, if I can't find "Now Macadamia Nut Oil".
