2Not worth the moneyJun 29, 2009

The webcam is ok and microphone works well for video chat. The LED lights are ok, they have two intensity settings. They add a little bit of task lighting, but not much, so I'm going to assume that it wasn't intended to actually double as a desklamp (just look like one). It does help a bit with additional lighting for the webcam, but it didn't help much when there was backlighting. It's just an ok webcam.

What you are really paying for is the design, and I have to say I do like the design. However, the price doesn't translate into quality. The armature that holds up the webcam from the base is plastic, and not even sturdy plastic. It's pretty flimsy. I feel like it's going to break every time I move it.

It's a funky little webcam, and I managed to get it for about $15, and that's about as much as I'd spend on something like this - an ok webcam with a very flimsy build that's meant to be something whimsical on your desk.

1NOT a Speaker.Jun 09, 2009

This is a wrong description. This is only webcam + mic. There is no speakers in it. I ordered one and then got a replacement item from amazon and it was the same thing. Very unprofessional behavior from amazon telling me that they have the right item and they will send me the right item. Seems like they do not know what they have in their stocks.
