Taste like Restaurant Veggie BurgersSep 08, 2009
By cool breeze I have tasted many vegetarian burgers ranging from "vegan" brands to the popular "Morning Star" brand. I have also sampled the vegetarian burgers from popular restaurant chains. In my opinion, this boca burger has a very good taste. The texture is similar to ground beef hamburger, and the addition of condiments and a bun further enhance the flavor. The packaging is excellent; the boca burgers arrive frozen in a special container that maintains the temperature during shipping.

Way overpriced!!!Feb 08, 2011
By Misty Girl Are you kidding me? The product is wonderful and have been a vegan for over thirty years and this product as been a staple for me during that duration but this price is ridiculous! I can purchase this same product at the most expensive supermarket for half the price per burger!

Reliably GoodMar 25, 2010
By Jenna I've used Boca Burgers for 20 years, and when my kids were little they ate them without complaint. Now my son is 17 and refuses anything "veggie"... but he had no problem when he was younger. The basic Boca Burger is as close as I've found to something that passes for a thin commercial burger. Not high praise, perhaps, but personally I like the flavor and it's great to know that my meal is low-impact. The other varieties of burgers that don't try to mimic hamburger have a lot going for them, but I return to the basic vegan Boca Burger when I want that "burger" taste. With all of the new developments in gluten-based vegan meats, some of which are sensational (like Morningstar's vegan "ribs"), I'm expecting something better to come along in the burger field. So far, though, Boca continues to be at the top of my list.

HOLY EXPENSIVE VEGEMAN!!Jun 08, 2011

I enjoy BOCA burgers. But they are best out of the frying pan. Morningstar has the market if you want to grill it, or go straight from the microwave. That being said this burger is tasty, but the price is crazy high! Do the math. The price here comes to about $6.20 a four pack. That is darn near double of what I pay with a coupon. And Coupons are easy enough to obtain every other week or so. Keep on, keeping on my meatless friends.

Pretty good substitute!Jan 28, 2011
By Chris I'm not a vegan or vegetarian (nor do I ever intend to be) but I started a diet that demands high protein and low fat so these became a staple for me. They're not hamburgers... but I didn't expect them to be. They're pretty good subs though! I've lost 15 lbs this month and these have definitely curbed my burger fix!
