I'd been buying it for years WHEN I COULD FIND IT, at the local grocery. Generally buying 5 or 6 cans cause I couldn't be sure it would be there next time I went. As such, I was thrilled to see Amazon selling it in bulk and cheaper than at my local store.
These are almonds... so you get the health benefits of that. They are very tasty, with a mild wasabi tang... I've shared them with friends and they love them.
Granted, these don't provide the entertainment value of the wasabi peas from the Japanese place that blow out your sinuses. But Its still a very tasty, semi healthy (lots of salt), snack that fills my need for something crunchy.
MUCH healthier than potato chips.

I love these Blue Diamond almonds...my husband and I are low carb eaters and almonds are an important snack food for us...these Blue Diamond almonds are great, love some of the other flavors too, salt and pepper, salt and vinegar....just plain addictive....I think the almonds they use are fresher or better than Planters....just really like their almonds.

I know most people probably think that a flavor like Wasabi would overpower something with a mild flavor like an almond, but Blue Diamond's Wasabi & Soy Sauce flavored BOLD Almonds are perfectly kicky. I tried these once when I bought a small pouch bag at a pharmacy once and I've been hooked ever since. I'm so glad that I can buy bulk quantities of these delicious snacks here on Amazon! They offer more flavor than most snacks and are healthier to eat than potato chips. It doesn't get any better than that!
