My husband and I were sick of the oversalted unnatural taste of microwave popcorns, so we have tried just about everything out there. Seriously, we've spent hundreds of dollars on popcorn, suffering through the 2nd and 3rd pouch in each carton, just to kill it so we could move onto the next pick.
When we found Black Jewell Natural microwave we thought we had found "the one" but kept looking, just to be certain. We have now been eating this popcorn for many years and have yet to find something even close.
We have converted many a friend to Black Jewell and feel quite firmly standed in our devotion.

Black Jewel Natural Flavor Microwave popcorn is just the best ever and I ought to know. Why? Because I am an expert after having eaten pocorn of every kind imaginable for over 60 years. Black Jewel's naturalness, full blown kernels and alomost no husk is why I buy it in bulk quantities along with Diet Cokes. I eat at least one bag every day and the greatest benefit comes early the next morning.

Although not widely distributed, Black Jewell is just a better microwave popcorn. Less greasy, better flavor. A bit less consistent in popping time, but otherwise a good choice for those seeking an alternative.

I have loved Black Jewel for several years now and have introduce many friends to it, who now love it too. Or used to. With the last case we bought online, that has now changed. I read a review at that time that said they had changed their bags and that it had affected how their corn is now popping. That customer was right. I now get a little over half per bag of what I used to get. The taste is the same but the amount that pops is woefully deficient. I've tried different microwave settings and still get the same results. What a shame! I suppose we'll continue our lifelong search for a great popcorn brand. Nothing else came close to Black Jewel but the value is now gone.

Black popcorn was recommended to me by a friend. She swears that this popcorn is better than any other. However, I did not like it at all. I am not saying the product is not good......I am saying it is not my personal preference.
I have had good luck with Amazon products but I just did not like this one.
