5Exactly what I was searching for!Apr 27, 2009
By Deja Vu "Angela"
I have been searching for a high quality eco-friendly dishwasher detergent product for over a year and have finally found it! It washed my dishes and left them spotless and scentless. My child is extremely sensitive to perfumes and scents and this product did not bother her at all. In the past her eyes would become red and swollen when I used other detergents. I was extremely nervous about ordering this product initially because of the output of so much money on 12 bottles for a product I had never tried before. I ordered it via the subscription plan and am EXTREMELY satisified with this product. It is a GREAT price on each bottle considering that it will wash at least 60 loads when using 1 Tablespoon per load. I have soft water and use 1/2 tablespoon for each dispenser cup.

2There's now a white film on the dishes and the inside of the dishwasherJun 26, 2010
By Book Lover "Peace Please"
I'm down to my last canister of the Biokleen and have to say I won't be buying it again. It gets the dishes clean, but they also have a white film on them. The stainless steel interior of my dishwasher also has a white film on in now....that was never there before I used the Biokleen. I'm here now buying a dishwasher cleaner and a different dishwasher detergent. I'll give it 2 stars for cleaning the dishes (if I don't include the white film). The 12 canisters have lasted me an entire year, so it goes a long way. I do like the canisters better than boxes too.....I use the canisters for other things when they're empty. They're great for storage of many different things. I just wish it didn't leave a white film behind.

5Good stuffSep 15, 2009
By Brian D. Pollock "NickMach007"
I've been using this stuff for about 6 months now, and it works great. You only need a tiny scoop per dishwasher load. In my efforts to transition to "green" living as much as possible, this is just one more small step. This stuff works just as well as any other product I've ever used. Gets dishes clean, no weird residue, etc. I would strongly recommend this product even to folks who don't care about using biodegradable cleaning products. I will definitely be buying this again in the future. Good stuff.

5Our new favorite detergentJan 16, 2009
By A. Wiersch
This is our new favorite "green" detergent. My wife hasn't had any complaints so it must be good! We tried Seventh Generation (powder) before and it often left junk on all our dishes. I believe it had to do with our hard water, but Biokleen seems to work well with our water.

2Dish Powder shouldn't be this hard to use!Sep 13, 2010
By Karen M. Johnson "HS English Teacher"
Like other reviewers have mentioned, this either leaves a white residue on dishes, or if you reduce the amount you use to eliminate the residue then it doesn't work to remove food from the dishes. An environmentally friendly product shouldn't require pre-washing your dishes! I tried dissolving the detergent in hot water before using it, but it is very hard to dissolve in a small enough amount of liquid to fit in the soap dispenser of the dishwasher.
