Biokleen liquid detergent is a wonderful product. My family has used it for the last 4 years. We switched to it from Tide because our skin was irritated and itchy from perfume in the detergent. I had tried other "Free and Clear" detergents, but they weren't very good, and I ran out of them quickly. Biokleen liquid is very concentrated, so a bottle lasts longer. Sometimes with "green" detergents, you sacrifice cleaning power, but Biokleen liquid cleans and brightens clothing just beautifully. I pair it with the Biokleen oxygen bleach powder, and I have been very, very satisfied.[...]

Overall, Biokleen is an awesome product. It has a great scent, cleans well on most laundry loads (with the exception of gym clothes and hard stains) and rinses completely clean. I use it for all my laundry, and have had nothing but great results. The only thing I would do is with especially soiled laundry (gym, stained, really dirty clothing, etc...), use the oxygenated bleach product Biokleen offers - as because of its natural nature, Biokleen struggled to get some oily stains out of a few items, but other than that, it is the best detergent I have used, and is guilt free as well!

We've used this detergent for almost a year and it's great. With a front load washer we only have to use half the recommended amount so a single bottle lasts for 128 loads, which is two months worth of laundry for our five person family. It cleans great, rinses out well (unlike many other detergents that leave a residue), leaves a very slight fresh citrus scent that stays through drying without dryer sheets, and is inexpensive. The only things we don't wash with this are cloth diapers (we need something unscented for those), kitchen rags (they get tide because this isn't quite strong enough), and gym clothes (tide again since this doesn't totally take care of the strong smell). I use several biokleen products and they are all great and so concentrated that a single bottle lasts a long time, the detergent being no exception.

Found this originally at my local grocer when we were moving to greener products due to cancer in the family. The grocer stopped selling it, so I sought it on-line. This product works well and is concentrated so a little goes a long way. One of the benefits is great smelling clothes after wash. Consumer Reports however did rate it very low in their July 2010 issue, saying it, among other green products "delivered spottier results." It's actually cheaper per use than many of the so called better detergents that have all the phosphates. So this is one where CR and I have a differing opinion. The detergent arrrived just fine in it's box.

I am a massage therapist and have to wash oily linens daily. In addition, as a responsibility to my clients, I feel I must launder them with regard to any potential sensitivities. This product fits the bill to a "T." It not only cleans and disinfects, it leaves ALL my laundry smelling fresh with nary a sensitive reaction. As if that wasn't enough, the price for this product(because I purchase it through Amazon's "Subscribe and Save)is ONE HALF the price of my local grocery store.
What more could you ask for? And it's all natural and biodegradable, too!
I have been using it for almost 15 years and when I moved to a more remote location, was thrilled to learn that I could have it delivered right to my door at such an amazing savings. Thank you, Amazon and Biokleen.
