Tastes sort of like ameretto syrup only weaker in flavor. You have to use more if you want to taste it.

Buy different flavors, even those that are sugar free. Not the best tasting one, but for the price, it will do. I had to purchase for my trip overseas where they might not have Starbucks or flavored creamer (where is that?). Well, it was convenient.

I have been looking in local grocery stores for amaretto syrup for years with no luck. I love to add a small amount of this syrup to my coffee in the mornings and I was beginning to give up hope of ever finding it again until I checked Amazon.
The Big Train brand provides a very ample amount of amaretto at a very reasonable price. There are better brands available, but Big Train isn't bad.
