Very TastyDec 13, 2011
By Summer it is very easy to make and taste great. only take less than an hour to make. i made it bread not muffin and used milk instead water , add 3 eggs not 2 !:)
425F seems too high a recommended baking tempDec 12, 2011
By Sally The muffins themselves are quite tasty and easy to prepare, but they probably would have come out much tastier had the edges NOT come out just under burned. :( Box directions recommend to bake these at 425F for 15-20 min. That seemed pretty extreme to me, especially for Lemon Poppyseed muffins which seem delicate. I baked at 425 but pulled them out after just 12 minutes. Didn't make a difference - they were already nearly black around the edges and on the bottoms by then. Had to eat around the burnt parts. No doubt the whole batch would have been ruined if I'd left them in the recommended 15, and certainly 20 min. Glad I wasn't serving these up to company.
