I think this is the best microwave mac n cheese around. There is enough in one bowl for lunch. The only downside is you need to stir it a lot after it is done so everything is mixed. Occasionally, there is a stray noodle that is hard with a lot of mix still on it, but I like those and I make it a game to find one.

By grumpyrainbow I love these. They taste a lot better than the Kraft Mac and Cheese cups I had been buying. The noodles have a good texture they ares much cheesier and not just watery cheese sauce like those are. Great for a quick lunch with tuna!

Pretty GoodDec 21, 2006
By L. Gorman Pretty tasty for a dry uncooked pasta with powdered cheese sauce. Add water, and blast away in the microwave for 4-6 minutes.
The sauce thickens while cooking and more as it cools. Keep an eye on it when first zapping, as microwaves vary. My hi-powered microwave had everything ready in 3 1/2 minutes. Microwave timing will vary.
But, please don't let it sit cooling too long, the pasta will start to stick together.
Not homemade, but, in a pinch, it will shut up the stomach grumbling and tasty too.

Great for WorkJun 03, 2008
By Karl Bielefeldt I've been searching most of my adult life for a good meal I can buy a dozen of and keep in my desk at work. Bowl Appetit meals fit my needs perfectly.
I have had bad experiences with dehydrated food and powders in the past, and had very low expectations when I picked these up. I thought the three-cheese rotini might be bearable, and I picked up a few other flavors out of morbid curiosity. I was pleasantly surprised. The rotini rivaled that of one of my favorite restaurants, and the other flavors were just as well done. The technology has come a long way, and they did an excellent job of selecting ingredients that work well with the concept. If someone had served it to me, I wouldn't believe them when they said it was rehydrated in a microwave.
The texture of the pasta in this dish and the rice in others is just right, and the flavors are not muddled or soggy like you get with wet-packed meals. There is a large enough variety that I can eat them almost every workday without growing tired of it.
