This oatmeal is OK, probably better than prepackaged store brands, but it's not as good as the bulk oatmeal I buy from the Health Nuts stores in Manhattan, and it's a bit more expensive. Also, I don't think it is organic if that is important to you. I think the difference might be size of flakes; the bigger the better, the texture is better.

second time buying this... it's a meaty rolled oat product able to make very good oatmeal and baked goods...
it seems significantly fresher that the old cardboard tube stuff from the grocery with a better aroma, so I like it....
for bodybuilders and health nuts, you can put 1/2 to bland 1 cup uncooked mixed in with a few tablespoons of cool whip (doesn't take much) and get a very healthy way to get oatmeal down without having to eat mushy gruel everyday.... the cool whip penetrates the oats a little and softens them ... dash it with cinnamon and / or put some preserves on the side for some more flavor....
