I've tried unsweetened,shredded coconut from various health food stores, etc. This is the best & much cheaper than at health food stores.

I keep these bags of coconut in the freezer, and they are wonderful to have on hand when I need them in a bread or salad recipe! Without the extra sugar, they don't appreciably add to the carb load of a recipe, and they are tender and tasty. Thanks!
