5Dog's FavoriteAug 08, 2010

It probably seems unusual to purchase dog food through Amazon. My daughter's Shitzus love the Rice and Lamb Stew. They will eat the other versions, but I swear I think they recognize the green lid because they get so excited. The problem is finding it in our locality. Only a few stores carry the lamb and rice version. These dogs used to have a lot of digestive ailments. I think the lamb and rice has helped with those issues.

4Dog FoodMar 18, 2009

My older dog loves this food, however, I feel that Amazon pulled a dirty trick by NOT making the "Pack of 16" available as in the past and INCREASING the price of "Pack of 8!"

5Yummy in the tummy...trust Amazon for an easy solutionMay 01, 2012

My curly-coated retriever is not terribly particular, but most of the dry food just sits there alllll day. These Beneful savory Rice & Lamb Stews are a cut above anything else we've provided...he just snarfs it up and begs for more. We've now ordered all of the varieties and he likes'em all. We mix it with a cup of Benefuls dry and 1/2 cup of instant hot water for a really savory meal...his enjoyment makes me feel like a really good mommy too.

5My Dog Loves ItFeb 11, 2011

This is one of three flavors of the Beneful "stew" meals which I purchase for my dog and she loves all three. I mix it with her dry food and she eats it right away.

5Beneful good - check the priceMar 02, 2009
By David Simpson
My Labrador loves this stuff. Eats one a night most nights plus a couple of handfuls of Beneful dried kibble - sometimes I feed him boiled chicken with rice as an alternative.
I am keenly aware of price; my local Walgreen had it recently for $2.99 - when I queried the price an assistant told me very curtly "we don't make the prices"
That's fine, but as I pointed out it is $1.97 at Stater Bros (a California major grocery chain) but recently $1.69 at Target AND $1.56 at Wal-Mart.
Guess where I have been buying mine ?
