I was hoping that after a previous review this would not happen, but it did once again. The order did not consist of 12 7-oz bags of the Baker's coconut as pictured. Each package was a sealed can. Unfortunately once again the coconut was extremely dry. I can only use it for recipes that call for the coconut to be mixed into the batter, not to top my coconut cakes. I will not be ordering these again.

"Expert Mom!"
This was on sale & it store well so I decided to "stock up", well my family is so GLAD I did! Since i had it readily available, I've whipped up maccaroons in ia flash, soooo moist & yummy, this is the BEST, MOIST coconut I've ever bought! I can buy the storebrands a bit cheaper, but by the time I figure in sales tax (10% in TN) this is actually CHEAPER!!
I've made GOBS of homemade Granola, (my Current favorite is: cocoa,coconut mocha!)we're in a "granola & yogurt phase" currently.
I also keep 1 bag "toasted" (bake it on low on a cookie sheet till golden, & cool) I store it in a quart jar & we sprinkle those crisp aweet flakes on cereals, pudding, ice cream.....you name it! Also great just out of the bag or toasted plain! GREAT stuff! Good price!
