 Beats all the big brand TsMar 02, 2008

I do feel brain-washed when it comes to Tees, I automatically filter out the big brands and look for sales. When I got really frustrated with some of the big brand tees, bad material, shrinkage, etc. I started looking for quality products and I bumped into BVD.
BVD (Bradley, Voorhees & Day) is a NY based company that seemed to be in underwear business since 1930s. Here are the highlights:
- Soft and light feel fabric
- Do not shrink
- No crazy lining threads or tags
- Nice fit
- Best price for the quality
Already replaced CK and Gap tees with couple of packs of BVDs. Definitely worth the buy.

Quality undershirt. After 5 washes (warm), normal shrinkage for a good undershirt. Keeps it's shape pretty well. Collar hasn't folded over like some cheaper (fruit of the loom) shirts, and the length shrinkage is reasonable, unlike some more expensive (jockey) shirts I've owned. They don't seem to ride up on my shoulders either, and I've got fairly broad shoulders. Overall, a decently priced undershirt with very good sizing. I will definitely buy more.

BVD's are the bestMar 11, 2008

I'm in the Navy and wear white t-shirts under my uniform, and I get dirty at my job. BVD shirts are softer, more comfortable, and repel nasty ship's laundry stains a lot better than either Jockey or Hanes. They lasted through a deployment to the Persian Gulf better than the other two brands.

I have bought all kind of T shirts and I keep coming back to BVDs. they fit very well, true to size and keep their size - maintain quality through many washings - for me there is only one choice. I bought some other brands recently and they were made somewhere else, not true to size and the fabric was thinner - BVDs are the Ts for me!

I have tried the BVD crew neck Tee shirts, which had received good reviews on consumers' evaluation sites. I was looking for tightness at the neck, something that eliminated that unkempt appearance sagging crew neck Tee shirts give the wearer, even when clean. BVD is not perfect YET, but I was pleased by how the neck kept its shape. It could have been better, but until I find the tight Tee shirt crew collar of my dreams, I will try BVD again. This would have been a perfect Tee shirt ( for me anyway ), had it had a tighter and flatter neck. Keep at it BVD, you are almost there.
