Turn that sandwich into a banquet...Apr 13, 2011

So lucky to find Audrey's on Amazon! You can usually only get it in neighborhood shops near where it's made in northwest Ohio. For years, it's been our "secret ingredient" for just about any meat: seal any cheap roast, steak or stew beef in a bag with a half-cup, leave it in the refrigerator overnight, and you'll never pay $5 a pound again. Audrey's makes a flank steak or ribeye grill and taste like expensive Angus cuts--you can't tell them apart. Brush some on ribs before braising, and they come out moist and succulent. With olive oil or an egg blended in, it makes a piquant glaze for a standing roast. Mix it with barbecue sauce, or spices and tomato, for slow-simmering pulled pork, chicken or beef. It's good for roasting lamb, too.
It's the best all-around marinade you'll find, and you won't find it at Kroger's.
