As with the Atlantic Haddock Chowder, I found that potatoes reigned the day. It really needs more clams!! I bought cans of diced clams and added one to each can of soup.....it made it sooo much more delectable and more 'clammy' tasting!! Then add fresh milk, a little butter, and lots of fresh black pepper and this soup is scrumptious. I will be buying more in the future. Of course, having to add another can of clams makes the costs of this clam chowder very expensive but as a special treat, they are well worth it.

Move over Campbells Soup, there's a new kid in town! This was the best clam chowder I have ever tasted and ever made. I followed the directions and tweaked it a little like the other review said. My husband loved it!!!

Chop one strip of bacon and fry it with a little red onion, add a little butter as stated on can. Once fat is rendered, add the following to the pot:
Pour 1 can of Atlantic Clam Chowder
Pour 1 can of Delallo Chopped Sea Clams with juice
Pour some Heavy Cream or Half n Half into the pot...decide how much you want...make it as runny or as thick as you like by cooking it down. I used 1 cup of cream.
Salt and pepper to taste.

DELICIOUS!!! Time to order some more so I don't run out.
